On voyage !
Want to know
Pu-Erh tea is a post-fermented tea that originates from the province of Yunnan in China. It is derived from Camellia Sinensis, and its dark colour is due to its period of fermentation. Just like good wine, it’s a tea that gets better with time!
The beneficial properties of Pu-Erh are renowned in Chinese pharmacopoeia, where it is classified as a medicinal plant. It is reknown for its ability to help detoxify the body and aid digestion, which makes it an excellent tea to drink after meals. Its after-the-forest-rain aroma is surprising, but let yourself be seduced by its woody notes, and after a few sips, other flavours, sometimes floral, sometimes sweet, will emerge..
